Template description:

Alexithymia is a very prevalent condition experienced by autistic people and ADHDers, which makes it very important to build on our knowledge and understanding of how we ourselves experience different emotions. Learning the different cues from our bodies when we experience different basic emotions is a crucial part to building this capacity.

On each of the emotion template, think about and write something (can be an event, a memory, an activity, etc) that makes you feel different degrees of the corresponding emotion. You can start with the superlatives (i.e., Level 7/darkest colour gradient: things that make you the happiest/saddest, etc), then think of something that makes you feel the mildest level of those emotions (i.e., Level 1/lightest colour gradient).

Then, move onto thinking about something that made you feel moderate levels of the emotion (Level 4) before filling out the rest (Levels 2 & 3, 5 & 6). You can also select descriptive words from the lists on both sides of the colour gradients that you think best describe what how you feel based on the event that you filled out on each level.
